Redesign of an infusion pump. The existing device should receive a facelift without changing the essential structure and handling. With a few exceptions the interior parts of the existing pump had to be used in the new design as well.
Requirements
Existing problems of the old system such as the lack of water tightness of the housing or the difficult access to the battery compartment were eliminated with the Redesign and the operation and service situation for the hospital staff was improved significantly.
