Modular Exhibition
System D has developed a modular, interactive exhibition concept for the Federal Government's competence center for cultural and creative industries. (KKKWI)
A selection of creative projects funded by the competence center was to be presented in a traveling exhibition in the form of exhibits and short presentation videos. The customer's project specifications were compact transport dimensions, simple assembly and disassembly, the possibility of updating or exchanging individual projects and flexible installation of the modules for different spatial situations.
At each exhibit station there is a coin dispenser from which exhibition visitors can take an RFID coin for the respective project. After inserting the coin, an RFID scanner at the monitor station recognizes the project and plays the corresponding video.
Whether packaging made of palm leaves, fashion for people of short stature or a game of pong while waiting for the traffic light - the projects on display are very diverse. Each project has its own exhibit box, which at the same time offers a presentation area during the exhibition and storage space for the exhibit during transport and storage. The multiplex presentation area is lasered with a graphic tailored to the exhibit and there is a suitable RFID coin for each project.
